Soumak Bhattacharjee is a graduate student at Duke University in Prof. Andrew Bragg's Theoretical and Computational Fluid Dynamics group.
His broad area of research is turbulence in sheared, stably stratified fluids.Soumak graduated from the Indian Institute of Science with a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Physics, focusing on fluid dynamics and turbulence.He is interested in broad topics in Physics and Applied Mathematics, including fluid turbulence. Soumak is a music aficionado and a fitness enthusiast. He loves travelling, hiking, and occasionally swimming, painting.
